The Garden Pump 5600 Silent+ from GARDENA is powerful and energy-efficient at the same time. It enables the use of well water or rainwater for irrigating the garden, pumping the water from a depth of up to eight metres. With a power consumption of only 900 watts, it is comparatively power-saving due to its efficient hydraulics and achieves a flow rate of 5600 litres per hour at 47 metres head (4.7 bar). The pressure pump, which has been developed in Germany, uses water-cooled multi-stage technology, which ensures outstandingly quiet operation at a low noise level of XX dB(A) sound pressure in 5m distance. This innovative technology does not need a fan, as waste heat is dissipated via the water. This results in the highest efficiency and the lowest noise level. The weatherproof pump is suitable for outdoor use and can therefore remain outside throughout the garden season, even in continuous rain and high humidity conditions such as fog. This allows short, efficient distances to the water source. The rubber feet ensure a secure stand on the ground. The power switch is easy to activate and can even be operated with the foot. To prevent dirt particles such as sand from getting into the electric pump, there is an integrated pre-filter at the inlet. The durable pump is robust due to the use of high-quality materials such as a stainless steel water and motor housing, and handles made of aluminium. The use of water storage saves valuable fresh water. This has a positive effect on the environment and saves money – especially in dry summers. In addition, the garden pump has a ceramic seal with a double sealing system and a stainless steel shaft between the hydraulics and the motor. The suction connection as well as the two outlets, one of which can be rotated by 180°, are also made of stainless steel and allow the simultaneous operation of several applicators. Other features include the large filling opening and the drain valve, which makes the pump particularly easy to fill and protects it from frost.
